The stock main shaft bearing (radial bearing) takes a large shearing force (up and downward vertical force) during flight and this force damages the radial bearing. With the Thrust bearing kit, it takes the vertical thrust load away from the stock radial bearings and makes the main shaft rotate more smoothly and reduces the chance of bearing seizure.
